I know this is a tree but the color makes it seem more like a close up of somestrange genetci mutation or a cancerous growth that has attached itself to a vulnerable body part. Reminds me of a close up of some new bacteria. The warm colors in the background are what suggest human biology to me. Unsettling but intrigueing.
